David Earl composes to commission. Roughly half of his output to date has been written for specific occasions in the concert hall and opera house.
Each new work can be assessed individually and a mutually agreed fee arrived at according to the length and forces involved.

A speciality is small-scale, made-to-order music for important events – weddings, christenings, commemorations, etc.
These are generally short pieces of just a few minutes, often choral settings of personally chosen verse, tailor-made to suit the setting and atmosphere of each celebration.
